dc.description.abstractEste trabalho buscou analisar a situação de saúde do povo guarani M’byá durante a pandemia de covid-19 e as ações de saúde realizadas no enfrentamento dela nas aldeias da área de abrangência do Polo Base de Florianópolis do Distrito Sanitário Especial Indígena Interior Sul. Trouxe como premissas para investigação desse objeto de estudo o contexto da saúde indígena no Brasil, a perspectiva de vulnerabilidade em saúde das populações indígenas e a importância de se compreenderem as relações entre território e saúde para a elaboração e aprimoramento de políticas públicas de saúde indígena. A partir de uma metodologia de revisão documental e observação direta como agente do objeto de pesquisa, foi feito um levantamento das reivindicações do movimento indígena e das medidas governamentais tomadas, das vulnerabilidades em saúde frente à pandemia e das ações de política pública de saúde indígena no território durante o período da pesquisa. Esta pesquisa mostra que as ações de saúde realizadas no território foram limitadas pela má gestão nacional, pelas insuficiências históricas do SASI-SUS e por um modelo de atenção à saúde que ainda traz muito pouco à prática os elementos de uma atenção diferenciada à saúde indígena que efetivamente considere aspectos específicos da territorialidade e da saúde guaranien_US
dc.description.abstractenThis study aimed to analyze the health situation of the Guarani M'byá people during the covid-19 pandemic and the health actions taken to fight it in the villages around the Polo Base of Florianópolis of the Special Indigenous Interior South Health District. The premises for the investigation of this object of study are the context of indigenous health in Brazil, the perspective of vulnerability in health of indigenous populations and the importance of understanding the relationship between territory and health for the development and improvement of public policies on indigenous health. Based on a methodology of document review and direct observation as an agent of the research object, a survey was made on the claims of the indigenous movement and the governmental measures taken, the health vulnerabilities during the pandemic and the actions of public policy on indigenous health in the territory during the survey period. This research shows that health actions carried out in the territory were limited by poor national management, by the historical insufficiencies of the SASI-SUS and by a health care model that still brings very little to a practise of special attention to indigenous health that effectively consider specific aspects of territoriality and Guarani healthen_US
